Nurse Practitioner Enrika “Rain” Potter grew up in a Northeastern Oregon
ranching community, learning firsthand hard work and great satisfaction in it.
She finished high school in Tri-Cities Washington and went immediately on
to serve in the Army. Leaving the Army in 2003 she quickly discovered her love
of caring for others and an aptitude for nursing and healthcare. Acquiring her bachelor’s
degree in nursing and raising a family, she continued to advance her education
and followed her husband’s career to Williston, North Dakota she joined St.
Alexius Hospital in Williston, ND. There she worked in the clinics and then
additionally in Emergency Medicine for 3 years, all while pursuing her master’s
program for Nurse Practitioner.
She has the desire to develop long-term patient relationships and establish
deep roots in a community. She hopes that this move will return to her and her
husband to their ranch roots and will allow them to raise their family in a
small town. Rain and her husband have four children and as a family they enjoy
archery, hunting, fishing, horses and spending every minute they can outside
enjoying nature. They are excited for the new adventure the Big Horn Basin will
bring to their lives.
